Statement of Faith

We believe that every individual has inalienable rights to pursue and obtain economic independence and education, voice concerns about the health and welfare of her community and family; and that everyone benefits from increased knowledge.

We believe that, as WGLI models exceptional leadership skill in organizing and sustainability, we will educate, enlighten, and inspire women of all economic and social levels to build self-governance, personal accountability, and authority. These women, then, will model leadership, community involvement and civic responsibility within their own spheres of influence.
